BrewCircuit Inc. ("BrewCircuit", "we", "us") operates brewcircuit.one, a barista community and used-equipment marketplace from 80 Atlantic Avenue, Suite 415, Toronto, ON M6K 1X9, Canada. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal information under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable Ontario privacy law.

We collect only information necessary for identified purposes. Marketplace sellers provide name, email, optional phone, listing details and condition photos. Job board employers provide organization name, contact person, role descriptions and compensation bands. Community members provide display name, email and optional profile data for peer exchange.
Personal information is used only for identified purposes unless you consent to additional uses or law permits otherwise. We do not sell personal data. We may disclose information to contracted service providers (hosting, email, moderation tools), law enforcement when required, and other users where necessary to facilitate marketplace transactions with seller consent.
Inactive accounts archive after 24 months without login. Listing and job data retains for 36 months after deactivation for dispute resolution, then secure deletion. Cookie preferences store for six months.
We take reasonable steps to keep information accurate and current. Request corrections at [email protected]. Sellers and employers are responsible for keeping listings and postings current.
We apply safeguards appropriate to sensitivity: TLS encryption in transit, access controls, password hashing and periodic security review. Primary hosting uses Canadian infrastructure. No transmission method is completely secure.

BrewCircuit is for adults in the specialty coffee industry. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. Contact us to request deletion if you believe a child submitted information.
Primary processing occurs in Canada. Some providers may process in jurisdictions with comparable protections under contractual safeguards consistent with PIPEDA.
Published listings may display equipment photos and seller contact details to other members. Job postings may show employer names and role descriptions publicly. Post only information you are comfortable sharing with the community.
We may update this policy with a revised "Last updated" date. Material changes are posted on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
